PRACTICE: Awards & Competitions
The Gilroy McMahon Philosophy is to tailor each building challenge to its precise requirements, its context and its architectural aspiration. That applies to all our projects large and small and has resulted in our enthusiastic participation in architectural competitions. We commence each design from a new beginning, from a new research base. All this has resulted in a rich diversity of building types in our portfolio, many of which were awarded to Gilroy McMahon on foot of architectural competitions and many of which received design awards of distinction. We are one of a very few number of practices to have won the country’s premier award on more than one occasion.
